Disabling The Firefox Import Wizard

First time Firefox is started it runs the bookmark import wizard that I personally never use and therefor disable it by adding a file named override.ini in the %programfiles%\Mozilla Firefox\ folder with this content

Preventing "Welcome to the 2007 Microsoft Office system"

How to prevent "Welcome to the 2007 Microsoft Office System" from appearing for every new user.

Download the updated AdminTemplates.exe file from:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=92d8519a-e143-4aee-8f7a-e4bbaeba13e7&DisplayLang=en

Copy the "Admin" folder from the extracted AdminTemplates.exe folder to your Office 2007 installation source folder. Overwrite the existing Admin folder.

Click Start, click Run, type Office installation CD \setup /admin , and then click OK.

Select Office 2007

Navigate to Features - Modify User Settings

Select Microsoft Office 2007 System - Privacy - Trust Center


Double-click Disable Opt-in Wizard on the first run.

Close the window and save the EXE.

Run the EXE on the machine that you want to prevent the Welcome to the 2007 Microsoft Office System message to be disabled on.
